Today the Grande Roche is a celebrated international hotel, famous for its exquisite location in the heart of the beautiful Cape Winelands as well as for its luxurious, cosmopolitan accommodation, award-winning cuisine and matchless service and hospitality.
The immaculately restored Cape Dutch homestead dates back to the 18th century, and offers guests a variety of sumptuous accommodations which include 29 luxury suites and five executive rooms.
The recently renovated manor house is the heart of the hotel and home to the award-winning Bosman's Restaurant. A fusion of imaginative and innovative epicurean delights will tantalize the most discerning of palates in Africa's first and only Relais Gourmand restaurant.
Bosman's is a 70-seater restaurant with a terrace and patio seating 60 in fine weather. It is open seven days a week. For groups of eight or more, the Banqueting department will help to choose a menu to suit the guest and the occasion. Dress code for the restaurant is smart - no "Jacket & Tie" requirement. There is wheelchair access throughout as well as designated parking bays.

Wedding Ceremonies at Grande Roche
The intimate chapel has been carefully restored and is the perfect setting for romantic wedding ceremonies. The quaint venue seats eight people, but a maximum of 14 guests can be accommodated with additional chairs. There is a scenic open area directly outside of the chapel, with beautiful views of Paarl Mountain and the Paarl Wine Valley, which can accommodate a further 45 guests.
THE WEDDING PACKAGE INCLUDES:
*Three nights in the Honeymoon Suite inclusive of SA breakfast with sparkling wine & oysters.
*A welcome drink on arrival with fruits & mineral water in your suite
*A shoulder & back massage OR a reflexology treatment
*A hairdresser will attend to the bride in the privacy of the suite
*The bride can choose a gift either professional make-up, a mini facial and a Honeymoon Gift Pack, OR a hand massage with a French manicure, OR a Pedicure with ankle/calf massage & exfoliation.
*The ceremony will be held in the hotels's 300 year old Chapel and conducted by a local minister (For couples who are not SA Citizens, we will arrange for the authentication of the marriage to comply with legal registration in their home country)
*Seasonal flowers of your choice wil be supplied by the florist for the bridal bouquet, a buttonhole for the bridegroom as well as arrangements for the chapel & Honeymoon Suite. *An organist will play three pieces of music from the selection compiled by the organist.
*To commemorate the occasion the couple’s name will be engraved on a brass plaque on the Chapel door.
*A wedding cake for up to eight guests
*A romantic five course dinner for two excluding wine, served in the award-winning Bosman's Restaurant or the WA de Klerk Private Dining Room.
