Hippo Hollow has an à la carte restaurant where you can enjoy fine cuisine, accompanied by South African wines selected from the wine cellar. In the evening enjoy a cocktail on the patio overlooking the Sabi River, where you may hear hippos. Relax at one of the two beautifully positioned swimming pools set amongst lush gardens, or take an adventurous helicopter ride, where you will swoop over the deep and mysterious gorges, linger above roaring rivers and cascading waterfalls, and view the fascinating and dramatic rock formations of the Blyde River Canyon.

Hippo Hollow has a timeless 'Out-of-Africa' feel. Accommodation consists of 63 thatched en-suite units. The chalets are semi self-catering, consisting of a gas barbeque and kitchenette area with tea/coffee making facilities. The 26 hotel rooms have private balconies overlooking the Sabie River and picturesque gardens.
