HOW TO TAILOR MAKE YOUR HOLIDAY
Our website will enable you to create your own holiday to suit your exact requirements. As a tailor made travel specialist we pride ourselves on our knowledge and expertise to personalise the precise holiday for the discerning and independent traveller, who is looking for complete freedom of choice. Just follow the steps below to guide you through.
Remember South Africa is a very big country so don’t try and do too much.
Accommodation – Hotels or Self Catering
- Select your area/s.
- Choose your Accommodation Type. Name of Hotel, Safari Lodge,Villa/Apartment Code.(You can mix and match if you choose to stay part of your holiday in a hotel, and the rest is a villa or apartment).
We also have ‘All Suite’ hotels, so you can ‘self cater', or use the hotel facilities if you choose.
- The number of nights, including dates, that you want to spend in one or more areas, of your chosen accommodation.
- If you would like to include a tour in your itinerary– Name, Code Number, Date(s)
- Tour Only – Name and code.
- Indicate the number of adults and number of children.
- Fill in the enquiry form with all the above information, or if you don’t find the hotel or resort you are looking for we have numerous alternatives available please just ask. Or if you would like to discuss areas or options please call +44 (0)1782 619596.
Touring
We offer fully escorted tours, where you will be transported by Thompsons Africa Touring & Safaris impeccable modern air-conditioned fleet of vehicles. You will be welcomed by your guide who will look after you throughout your trip, and has in depth knowledge and passion for the area. Transportation, listed meals/porterage/game park entrance fees etc are indicated on the information details of each tour.
Twin Centres and Self Drive
We have included the cost of a Class D Vehicle Nissan Almera or similar. If you want to change to a smaller or larger vehicle please let us know and we will arrange this for you and adjust the cost accordingly.
Meet and Greet
Whether you book a tour, hotel or safari lodge, one of our representatives will be at the airport to meet you. If you are not hiring a car, our shuttle service will take you to your accommodation, a transfer fee will be charged.
Self Catering
If you would like to hire a car please let us know and we will be happy to arrange this for you. If you choose not to do this, we can arrange a transfer to your villa or apartment for an additional fee, and don’t forget we can also order a grocery starter pack ready for your arrival,cost payable direct on arrival.
